Funeral Live Streaming from the Wake
Let everyone join the gathering afterwards
After the service, the wake is where people come together to talk, share memories and support one another. It is often where the warmth of the day is felt most, and it is the part that those who couldn’t travel miss most. Peter can live stream from the wake so that friends and relatives far away can still be part of it. He keeps a light, respectful presence, so the occasion stays relaxed and about the person you are remembering.
Stories, toasts and tributes, shared with everyone
Many of the most heartfelt moments happen at the wake: a eulogy from a close friend, a toast, a favourite song, a funny story that gets the room laughing. Peter can capture these and stream them live, so people watching from home feel they are in the room. He can also stream the service itself, and with your agreement, continue from the service to the wake so no part of the day is missed.
A private page for your guests
Peter sets up a private web page and streams live straight to it. You choose who receives the link, and it can be passed to anyone with an internet connection, whether they live nearby or on the other side of the world. Guests can watch on a computer, phone, tablet, iPad or Smart TV. You can also add up to 10 photographs of your loved one to the page.
Nothing needed from the venue
Wakes are held in pubs, function rooms, village halls, clubs, community centres and family homes, and they don’t always have reliable WiFi or spare sockets. Peter’s equipment is completely self-contained, so it needs neither the venue’s internet nor a mains socket. He sets up quietly at the edge of the room, without disturbing your guests.
Respectful of your wishes
A wake can be a private and emotional occasion. Please let Peter know if there are moments that shouldn’t be filmed, areas of the room to avoid, or guests who would prefer not to appear on camera. He will work around them with care and discretion.
A recording to keep
After the day, Peter carefully edits the footage and uploads it to your private page. Family and friends can watch it again whenever they wish, and you can download a copy to keep.
