Funeral Live Streaming for Indian Families: Share the Service with Loved Ones in India
Let family in India be part of the farewell
When someone dies in the UK, many of the people closest to them may be in India: parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, cousins and lifelong friends. Travelling at short notice isn’t always possible because of visas, flights, health or cost. Peter’s live streaming service lets them watch the service as it happens, so they can share in the prayers, tributes and farewell even though they can’t be there.
One private link, easy to pass on
Peter creates a private web page for the service and streams to it live. You decide who receives the link, so you can send it to relatives in India and to friends elsewhere in the UK or abroad. They can watch on a phone, tablet, laptop or Smart TV, and the link is simple to share by WhatsApp or text. Up to 10 photographs of your loved one can be shown on the page.
Respectful of your faith and traditions
Peter works calmly and discreetly, staying in the background so the service goes ahead just as your family wishes, whether it is a Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Christian or other ceremony. Please tell him about any customs, positions or moments you’d prefer not to be filmed, and he will plan around them.
Works at any venue
Peter’s equipment works without the venue’s WiFi or mains power, so a weak signal or a lack of sockets won’t interrupt the broadcast. If you’d like, and where the venue allows, he can film at the family home, through the service and on to the graveside or committal, so relatives in India can follow the whole day.
Plan around the time difference
India is 4½ hours ahead of the UK during British Summer Time and 5½ hours ahead in winter. Peter can help you choose how to share the start time so relatives in India know exactly when to join.
A recording to keep and share
After the service, Peter lightly edits the footage and adds it to the same private page. Relatives in India who couldn’t watch live, perhaps because of the time difference, can watch whenever suits them, and you can download a copy to keep for the family.
Fair, clear pricing
Peter is a full-time videographer and live streaming specialist, offering a considerate, professional service at a fair price. Live streaming for one venue starts from £315.00 + travel.
Areas covered
Peter works across the Midlands, including Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Derby and Nottingham, and will travel anywhere in the UK.
